During the Promotional Products Association International’s (PPAI) pyramid awards celebration this week, Axis was recognized for two creative projects.

Amanda Novelline won the Gold Pyramid Award for not-for-profit programs for her SMART Girls campaign with Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Axis earned the Gold Pyramid Award for Self Promotions for last year’s surprise and delight campaign.

“It’s an honor to be recognized by PPAI,” said CEO Larry Cohen. “We pride ourselves on supporting our clients with creative solutions. Receiving one of the highest honors in the industry is not only a testament to Axis’ collaborative culture, but a result of building strong relationships with our clients.”



To this date, Axis has won more than 20 pyramid awards, the promotional product industry’s highest honor. Axis CEO Larry Cohen, Partner Joan Bluestone Landorf, Vice President Amanda Novelline and Account Executive Alex Alois accepted the awards.

You Can’t Stop a Smart Girl
BGCA wanted to create a line of branded products for girls ages 8-17 that would incent partipcation and engagement in the SMART Girls program, where girls learn about themselves and build meaningful connections to their peers.

We created retail-inspired products with vibrant designs using the tagline YOU CAN’T STOP A SMART GIRL. The branded products are a “badge of honor” for girls to earn and wear proudly and include custom journals, headbands, accessory pouches, bracelets and trendy apparel.

Axis Promotions’ 2018 surprise and delight campaign gave clients the chance to make their gift personal.

In a time when personalization is becoming more and more popular, Axis set out to do three things: demonstrate our ability to combine hyper-personalization with state-of-the-art technology and stellar promotional products, show our clients how much we appreciate them and celebrate another successful year with our customers.

After completing a survey online, customers received personalized treats in customized pouches with their name. As an extra special gift, VIP customers also received a link to our gift store where they could choose a high-end item and customize it to fit their style.
