The Specialty Advertising Association of Greater New York (SAAGNY) announced the winners of the association’s annual awards during its Annual Meeting, held November 13th, 2013 at F&J Pines Restaurant in the Bronx, NY. Among the awards announced was the SAAGNY Distributor of the Year Award, presented to Axis Promotions, based in New York City.
This is the second consecutive year that Axis Promotions was selected as Distributor of the Year. The SAAGNY Board of Directors established this award to recognize a distributor member that best represents the ideals of the promotional advertising industry. SAAGNY members were asked to nominate their favorite companies, and were then given the opportunity to vote for one of the finalists in balloting conducted in early October. The other finalists were Motivators, Inc. of Westbury, NY; Progressive Promotions of Englewood, NJ; and Staples Promotional Products of Overland Park, KS.
Members were asked to vote for the Distributor of the Year Award based on the following criteria:
● Is progressive in helping to elevate the industry and its members
● Is an example of integrity and professionalism for the industry
● Works diligently and respectfully to resolve problems, should they arise
● Consistently remits payment within their approved terms
● Increased their business with your company
● Allocated time for your factory or multiline rep to present your product line to the distributorship
● Works within industry best practices
“The nominees and winners were all truly deserving of recognition – they are all among the best in the industry,” said SAAGNY President Michael Leone. “I am sure that winning this award was even sweeter because they were selected by their peers. We are proud of how successful the winners are and we congratulate them on their accomplishments.”
